Today, Ambassador Iryna Venediktova continued the good tradition of briefings with friends and partners of Ukraine at the Embassy.

Iryna Venediktova familiarized her colleagues from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain and Belgium with the development of the security situation and internal political processes in Ukraine, the initiatives of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding the consolidation of international efforts to repel Russian aggression and the implementation of the agenda of reforms on the path of the Euro-Atlantic and European integration of Ukraine.

The Ambassador thanked the representatives of the diplomatic missions of the partner countries for their help and support to Ukraine in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as their important contribution to strengthening democracy, the rule of law and human rights in our country.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation with Switzerland and the use of its potential in increasing sanctions pressure on the aggressor country, returning deported Ukrainian children to Ukraine, implementing projects in the field of humanitarian demining and supporting the functioning of critical infrastructure in the winter period.
