As part of the project “YOUR COUNTRY FIRST – WIN WITH US”, Oleksandr Kornienko met with the delegate of the Swiss Federal Council for Ukraine Jacques Gerber.

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko informed his colleague about Ukraine’s active European integration path and the role of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the relevant negotiation process. “He stressed the importance of restoring our state from the consequences of a full-scale invasion. He spoke about the initiated projects and experience of horizontal cooperation. He gave an example of cooperation between Estonia and the Zhytomyr region. He suggested considering the possibility of such interaction between our countries,” the First Vice Speaker reported.

In turn, Jacques Gerber spoke about plans to launch financing projects in the following areas: reconstruction, civil service and digitalization.
