On September 26, the Embassy met with the Ukrainian community and representatives of the State Secretariat for Migration.

The Swiss side informed about the temporary protection S status, work integration, existing assistance programs for returning to Ukraine, as well as solving problematic issues surrounding the stay of Ukrainians in Switzerland. In particular, the issue of studying the Ukrainian language and culture, opening of Ukrainian-language Saturday and Sunday schools was discussed.

At the end of the meeting, a lively discussion took place, where Ukrainians could hear first-hand answers to urgent questions.

The Embassy expresses its gratitude to the representatives of the Federal Department of Justice and Police, the State Secretariat for Migration and the Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education for the informative presentations and for the open dialogue with the Ukrainian community.
