The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova held a meeting with National Rada deputy from the Mitte party Andreas Mayer.

The parties discussed security challenges and threats to the entire European continent due to Russia's aggression. It was also about the consolidated response of the civilized world to the crime of aggression and the participation of Switzerland in this process as the cradle of international humanitarian law.

Ukraine is grateful for the efforts made and appreciates the continuation of the dialogue on humanitarian aid and reconstruction projects of Ukraine.

The importance of Switzerland's recognition of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people was separately emphasized. The role of the Swiss parliament as the voice of the people is crucial in supporting our state for stability and resistance to the aggressor.
