On October 15, the Ambassador of Ukraine, Iryna Venediktova, gave a lecture to students of the Institute for International Business Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Freiburg, on the topic of sanctions pressure.
Among the participants were students and young professionals from various countries. During the event, current trends, challenges, and practical aspects of the application of sanctions in international relations were discussed. Particular interest was shown in Ukraine’s experience in this area.
Ambassador Venediktova emphasized that sanctions pressure is an important instrument of international influence, used to counter aggression, strengthen the rule of law, and promote global security.
She also highlighted the value of direct dialogue with students and young people, noting that the exchange of knowledge and international experience helps shape a generation capable of effectively responding to today’s challenges.
