The Women's Club is a driving force in the community, meeting monthly in the center of Bern since 1992. Urgent political, economic and social issues are in the center of attention.

Ambassador Iryna Venediktova was the guest of honor at the club today.

The Ambassador began her speech with documentary "Hard Hour” from Alan Badoev about the real life stories, dreams and plans of Ukrainians until February 24, 2022, which instantly turned into the sound of sirens and falling bombs.

In the course of a warm and lively discussion, the Ambassador answered various questions of the participants: from the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion, national Ukrainian identity to the holding of the future Peace Summit in Switzerland.

At the end, the Ambassador called on the members of the club to be more active and help everyone at their own level to fight against the aggressor.

We thank the women's club committee leaders, Claudia Engler and Nicole Walker, for inviting us to participate in this important event and bringing the truth about Russian war crimes against the civilian population of Ukraine.
