The issue of humanitarian demining is one of the key issues for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. Switzerland has already announced the allocation of 100 million Swiss francs for the implementation of demining projects in Ukraine for the period 2024-2027.

The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova held a meeting with the management of the Swiss company that manufactures automated demining machines - Global Clearance Solutions.

During the meeting, the CEO of the company, Philipp von Michaelis, informed the Ambassador that 10 machines of their production are already working in Ukraine, and more than 30 more will be delivered in the coming months. The company also opened its own representative office and service center in Ukraine.

The parties agreed to continue to coordinate efforts to clear Ukrainian lands as soon as possible and ensure the safe living of our citizens.
