The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova and Federal Prosecutor Stefan Blättler discussed the possibilities of implementing the rule of law in the conditions of Russia's criminal war against Ukraine and the inevitability of punishing violations of international law.

Ukraine appreciates each state's contribution to restoring justice and the architecture of international legal relations. Moreover, hopes for Switzerland's participation in the group of founding states of the Special Court, before which the Russian military and political leadership will have to answer.

During the meeting, it was noted that Swiss prosecutors are ready to intensify cooperation with Ukrainian colleagues at the level of general prosecutors to achieve common goals in criminal justice and judicial proceedings.
