On July 11, 2024, Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova took part in the meeting of the president of the University of Zurich Prof. M. Shäpman with rectors of the Ukrainian universities of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa.

During the meeting, which was held at the invitation of the Swiss side, a wide range of university activity issues of mutual interest were discussed, with an emphasis on the organization of the educational process and research work.

Rectors of Ukrainian universities familiarized their Swiss colleagues with the specifics of higher education institutions in the conditions of Russia's ongoing aggression. In the course of fruitful and constructive discussions, potentially interesting directions and tracks of cooperation for both sides were discussed and outlined.

The meeting emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and research in the context of the Ukrainian-Swiss agenda.
