With the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Swiss Confederation, the charity concert “MIT DER UKRAINE IM HERZEN – With Ukraine in the Heart” took place in Basel.

At the Offene Kirche Elisabethen, the Ukrainian and Swiss audience enjoyed a performance by the National Honored Bandurist Capella of Ukraine named after Georgiy Mayboroda — a legendary ensemble that preserves and promotes the unique Ukrainian musical tradition around the world.

The sound of the bandura and the expressive singing of the performers created a special atmosphere of unity, support, and solidarity with Ukraine.

Special thanks are extended to the artistic director and general director of the Capella, People’s Artist of Ukraine Yurii Kurach, for his dedication to the development of Ukrainian culture and for representing Ukraine abroad at the highest artistic level.

The concert was complemented by the photo exhibition “Brave to Save Lives”, dedicated to the devoted work of Ukrainian rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The exhibition was organized by the IvAlive Foundation with the support of the Basel community. The display tells the story of the courage and daily heroism of Ukrainian rescuers who risk their lives to help people during the war.

The concert had a charitable purpose — raising funds for humanitarian projects for Ukraine.
