On October 14, a special event took place at the Cultural Center (KKL) in Lucerne.
Young and passionate musicians, laureates of national and international awards from different parts of Ukraine and Europe, united in a charity concert of works by Ukrainian composers.
The Slobozhan Youth Symphony Orchestra from Kharkiv, conducted by the Polish conductor Jurek Dybal, and the "Prostir" choir, conducted by the conductor Oleksiy Yatsyuk, surprised the hall for 3 hours, demonstrating the diverse and unique culture of Ukraine. The soulful performance of each composition and song did not leave anyone indifferent.
The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova thanked KKL leadership Felix Howald, MP Urban Frye, soprano Daria Mykolenko, bassist Oleksandr Kharlamov, conductors, musicians and singers for this magical evening of Ukrainian beauty. At the same time, she reminded that the war continues, Russian missiles continue shelling Ukrainian cities, and only our joint efforts will help Ukraine win.
