As part of the project initiated by the Embassy and implemented by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the city of Bern and Bernmobil, trams were transferred to Ukraine. This is already the second project between Ukrainian and Swiss cities. By the end of the year, 11 Bernese trams will be making their rounds in Lviv, and Zurich trams are already on the road in Vinnytsa.

The Counselor Andrii Biriuchenko pointed out that Switzerland is an example when small ideas turn into important projects to support our people. This solidarity with the Ukrainian people will contribute step by step to the reconstruction of our country.

We would like to thank the Swiss side for the implementation of this important project, the transport to Ukraine, spare parts and the training of employees of the Ukrainian transport companies.
