On October 17, 2025, the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland took part in the opening of an exhibition by Swiss artist Hanspeter Fiechter, held at ElfenauPark in the city of Bern.

Although the artist has never personally visited Ukraine, his paintings convey deep emotions, compassion, and empathy for the events unfolding in our country. Among the works on display are paintings dedicated to the Revolution of Dignity (Maidan) and the destroyed Transfiguration Cathedral in Odesa.

Particularly touching is Mr. Fiechter’s decision to donate 50% of the proceeds from the sale of his paintings to support Ukrainian orphans currently residing in Switzerland.

We express our sincere gratitude to the artist for his support of Ukraine and for this humanitarian initiative, which unites art, kindness, and solidarity.

The exhibition will run until December 7, 2025, at ElfenauPark, Bern.
