On January 7, Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova visited the headquarters of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).

During the visit, the Ambassador got acquainted with the history, current status and plans of the Center, talked with Ukrainian employees and scientists who work and conduct research using modern experimental equipment at CERN.

The main theme of the discussions was the issue of Ukraine-CERN cooperation and the participation of Ukrainian researchers.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the European Center for Nuclear Research for its solidarity with Ukraine during the difficult times of testing, as well as the decision to terminate cooperation with the Russian side and its research institutions.
